A native of Mexico. Naturalized USA citizen and mother of two precious girls, Mayra is passionate about helping others achieve longevity through strength training and optimal nutrition.

Athletics has always been a passion of Mayra’s. In 1998, Mayra was introduced to powerlifting, earning “USA Powerlifting Junior Top 20 Athletes” honors that year. Mayra was also a bodybuilder competitor, and earned her Professional Figure Title and IFPA Pro Card in 2006.

With a passion for helping people move, feel, and perform at their best, Mayra is a dedicated coach and personal trainer specializing in strength and conditioning, longevity, general fitness, powerlifting, and nutrition. Drawing on years of experience working with clients of all ages and ability levels, Mayra takes a well-rounded approach to training—combining science-based programming with individualized coaching to help each client reach their goals safely and sustainably.

Whether leading personal or group training sessions, Mayra focuses on building a strong foundation of movement quality, strength, and resilience. Their programs are designed not only to enhance physical performance but also to improve overall well-being and long-term health.

With a background in powerlifting and functional strength development, she understands the importance of progressive overload, proper technique, and smart recovery. As a certified nutrition coach, she also provides guidance on balanced, practical nutrition strategies that complement training and support lasting results.

Mayra believes that fitness should empower people to live stronger, healthier, and more confident lives—both in and out of the gym.

  • Robert Kamb, PTA, NASM- Strength & Conditioning Coach

From a young age growing up near Bellingham, Washington, I was passionate about sports and participated in football, rugby, soccer, and wrestling. That love for athletics shaped who I am today. After receiving physical therapy as a teenager for a sports injury, I knew I wanted to help others the same way physical therapy had helped me.

That experience inspired me to pursue a career in physical therapy and strength training—helping people improve their performance, recover from injuries, and live healthier, more fulfilling lives through movement.

I earned my degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and have continued to expand my education in sports science and physical therapy to reach more individuals looking to overcome injury and build strength.

With over 10 years of experience in personal training, strength coaching, and physical therapy, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients—from high school athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts, as well as powerlifters, bodybuilders, and Olympic weightlifters. My focus is on helping people recover from injuries, regain strength, and achieve a higher level of performance and functionality in their daily lives.
